Disabling Facial Recognition on a uFace 800 Clock

You can choose how employees identify themselves on uFace 800 clocks. If you decide forgo using facial recognition to identify employees, we recommend disabling the clock’s camera.

If your camera is disabled and you’d like to start using facial recognition, skip to the How to Turn the Camera On section below.

How to Turn the Camera Off

This section guides you through turning off the clock’s camera when you’re only using fingerprints, cards, or passwords to verify employees.

Step 1: Open Clock Connect on the Avanti Self-Service Portal (ASSP).

Unsure where to find Clock Connect? Enter Clock into Search on ASSP, and it’ll direct you to the right place.

Step 2: Select Camera Off.

How to Turn the Camera On

This section guides you through turning your camera back on.

Step 1: Open Clock Connect on the Avanti Self-Service Portal.

Step 2: Select Camera On.
