Some provinces have increased minimum wages. When Avanti version 9.45 is applied, these changes will automatically update if the old minimum wage was previously indicated.

To verify that the provincial minimum wages updated successfully, please complete the following:
Before you start
This should only be done after you Install the 2021 Avanti Tax Update.
Step 1: Open Provincial Tax in the Avanti Desktop Application.
By default, this can be found in Canadian Payroll >> Taxation & Assessment Tables.
Step 2: Confirm minimum wage is correct for each province.
Manitoba: $11.90
Newfoundland & Labrador: $12.15
Nunavut: $16.00
Ontario: $14.25
Saskatchewan: $11.45
If the minimum wage is correct, skip to Step 6.
Step 3: Select any province with the incorrect minimum wage, then select Modify.
Step 4: Update Min. Wage/Hour to the correct amount, then select OK.
Step 5: Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for any incorrect minimum wage.
Step 6: Select Exit.
Congratulations! You’re done updating the minimum wage.
