Save Your Report Setup

Do you want to save a Report Designer report set up to send to use in another company? You can save your report setup by exporting it and creating an ARDX file. Then you can import the file into any of your other companies in Avanti.

Additional Information
If we’ve asked you to send us your report set up for troubleshooting, please export the setup and email us the ARDX file.

The file won’t include any employee information; it only provides information about the report setup.

How to Export the Report Setup

Step 1: Open Report Definitions in the Avanti Desktop.
By default, this can be found in Report Designer.

Step 2: Select the report you’d like to export.

Step 3: Select File, then select Export.

Step 4: Go to the location you’d like to save the file, then select Save.

Congratulations! Now that you’ve saved the file, you can either send it to Avanti for troubleshooting or import it into another company.

How to Add the Report to a Different Company

Now that you’ve gotten the report setup, you’re ready to add it in another company.

Step 1: In the company you’d like to add the report to, open Report Definitions in the Avanti Desktop.
By default, this can be found in Report Designer.
