Available Leave on Avanti Go

Take your employees’ guesswork out of time off with Available Leave. Employees now have an intuitive view of the time off they’re entitled to.

Available Leave on Avanti Go is designed to work with the Avanti Self-Service Portal. It displays the same time off types, colours, and icons. Right now, it only shows what’s available for the employees; it doesn’t have the employee’s past or future time off requests.

New Avanti Logo, New App Icon, and Menu Changes

You’ll now open Avanti Go using a new icon and see the new Avanti logo when signing in and throughout the app.

On the Avanti Go menu, we’ve changed Profile to You; as we add more features, employees will see more of their information there, not just their profile. Additionally, the menu descriptions are now standard and cannot be adjusted.

2023 T2200 Form now Available

The new T2200 Declaration of Conditions of Employment is now available for you to generate. For more information, go to Generate T2200 Form.

If any of your employees work remotely and you’ve been completing a T2200S form for the last couple of years, you will need to create a T2200 this year; the CRA retired T2200S for the 2023 tax year and updated Part B of the T2200 form.

Unsure whether you should issue a T2200 for an employee? Go to the CRA’s Eligibility Criteria to learn whether the T2200 applies to your employees.

Move to the Avanti Cloud Client

Anyone who isn’t already using the Avanti Cloud Client to access the Avanti Desktop must switch to using the Cloud Client before the evening of April 3, 2024, with the 24.4.1 update. After this, the RDP access will no longer be available.

You’ll know you’re using the Avanti Cloud Client if you see this before logging into the Avanti Desktop.

More French Descriptions Available

We’re adding more French descriptions to Human Resources Codes on the Avanti Desktop.

For now, these aren’t supported when adding employee information on the Avanti Self-Service Portal or the Avanti Desktop. You can prepare by adding the French Descriptions for more codes throughout Avanti.

Go to French in Avanti for more details if you haven’t set up French for Avanti yet.

Lookup Size Settings Removed

Lookup Size Settings is being decommissioned with this release. If Lookup Size Settings is in your Avanti Desktop, you should remove it from the System Menu.
