Lookup Size Settings

Lookup Size Settings allows you to set the code-width to description-width, maximising the description display throughout Avanti Desktop. Have a long description or ID that runs off? Change your lookup settings to show it in full.

Here’s how to change the code width:

Step 1: Open Avanti Desktop and navigate to Lookup Size Settings.
By default, this should be under System Administration > System Parameters.

Step 2: Select your desired lookup by double-clicking on it.

Step 3: Drag the Code Width bar to change the code width.

Step 4: Click the arrow to see your codes and description length. Select the code you wish to use to determine the appropriate code width.

Step 5: To save settings, click OK.

And with that, your code width is saved in Avanti Desktop.
