Here’s all the latest changes included in Avanti 24.8.1.
Non-binary Gender Option
It’s guys, gals, and now, non-binary pals. Your non-binary employees can have their identity reflected in their personal details throughout Avanti. This is also available for dependents.
When using formula variables you’ll need to make some changes. Variables V8 and J2 can have 3 as a non-binary code. Be sure to check your formulas to see if they need changes.
Including gender when importing employees? Use N for non-binary.
View Employee Pay Info
Managers and regular users can now view employee pay info in Compensation. Just search for an employee and you’ll be able to view their info. Need to get a little more creative in finding that employee? Use filters to search by location and activity. You’ll stay with the same employee as you navigate to other pages like Personal Information and Tax Docs.

Tax Slips
Employees using the old Tax Slips will move to the new. You’ll continue to enjoy everything about tax slips there with no work on your part. Employees will find their tax slips there, whether T4, T4A, RL-1, RL-2, etc.
Those joining us there will find new interface, including the ability to export to Excel.
Time Off Requests on Avanti Go
Request time off on the go with Avanti Go. Set up your time off on your phone whether planning that vacation with friends at brunch or sick time from under a mountain of blankets.
If you are already using time off requests, this will happen automatically. Do you want employees to add requests on the go and already use time entry on ASSP to show availability? Check out the Available Leave and Time Off Requests on Avanti Go Overview.
French Descriptions
We’re making changes to add more French throughout Avanti. You can prepare by adding in the French Descriptions.
In Career Connector Settings, we’ve added French Header Descriptions for:
Job Search
Job Apply’s Other Info and Submit
But it’s not just preparation anymore. When applying for a job in Career Connector, applicants will see French Header Descriptions along with the French Description you added on the Avanti Desktop for:
