Occasionally, someone at Avanti may ask you to run schema. This may take up to an hour, depending on how much data you have. Typically, you’ll need to run schema on all your production companies.
Important Information
Only run schema when Avanti explicitly requests for you to do so.
All users must be logged out while schema is running.
Step 1: Open Company Database in the Avanti Desktop Application.
By default, this can be found in System Administration >> Database Functions >> Schema Management.
Step 2: Ensure that Report and Apply Changes is selected.
Step 3: Ensure that Truncate Database Transaction Log is selected.
Step 4: Select Synchronize.
Congratulations! You have successfully ran schema.
